110: Book Cover

This week, I put the finishing touches on a book cover design.

The book is Cross Examined and it’s written by Bob Seidensticker. Set in in the early 1900s, around the time of the San Francisco earthquake and fire, Bob wanted a cover that immediately made the time period apparent. We went with a guy in bowler.

    I like that torn and stitched together look. Well done!

    I like how the back excerpt folds behind the building on the left. Gives it more of a intertwined effect than simply overlaying an excerpt on an image.
