102: Bus Stop Art, Revisited

March 3, 2012

The first time I decorated this empty bus stop schedule frame, I thought it would be taken down pretty immediately. It stayed up, though, for at least a couple months.

I knew it would eventually come down, but I was disappointed that it wasn’t replaced with anything. Not a schedule or any other art. So I decided to put something up again, but this time would be different. I put up instructions for making your own bus stop art.

That’s pretty much it.

I printed it off…

and installed it, according to the directions.

And, yes.

I did enjoy.

I wonder if they’ll actually put up real schedules some day…

P.S. Bit too late now, but might want to add that you should only do this on empty bus stops; otherwise, what if actual bus timetables get covered up? 😦

(Then again, it’d be pretty awesome if you could incorporate the timetable /into/ the art…)
