    Ajar of jamb doesn’t even make sense! How can there be an ajar of anything?

    I like your thought process…
    with the omnipresent wheeled suitcase, when will luggage become draggage?
    when will we cease to ‘hoover’ and start to ‘dyson’?

        I know and that’s puzzled me given that ‘hoover’ was a company founded in the US.

        ‘you say potato and we say potato’

        currently battling with why dogged is pronounced one way when we are ‘dogged by problems’ but a different way when we have ‘dogged determination’…. I should get out more….
